The Translation

“Considering your own duty, you should not waver. Indeed, there is no greater engagement for a warrior than a righteous battle.”

Commentary & Insights

Krishna shifts from the ultimate metaphysical teaching of the immortal soul to the level of social duty (Svadharma). He reminds Arjuna of his role as a Kshatriya (warrior and leader) on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, pointing out that for a warrior, there is no higher duty than a righteous war.

Practical Application
1

Identify one responsibility in your current role that you find uncomfortable. Consciously choose to face and execute it today as a matter of duty.
