अविनाशि तु तद्विद्धि येन सर्वमिदं ततम् | विनाशमव्ययस्यास्य न कश्चित्कर्तुमर्हति ||२-१७||
avināśi tu tadviddhi yena sarvamidaṃ tatam . vināśamavyayasyāsya na kaścitkartumarhati ||2-17||

The Translation

“Know that to be indestructible by which all this is pervaded. No one can destroy this imperishable soul.”

Commentary & Insights

Krishna continues to explain the indestructible nature of the soul to Arjuna, who is grieved by the prospect of killing his relatives. Krishna points out that the true self of all these warriors cannot be destroyed.
