The Translation
“The objects of the senses fade away for one who abstains from sensory contact, but the craving for them remains. However, even this inner craving disappears when the Supreme is experienced directly.”

विषया विनिवर्तन्ते निराहारस्य देहिनः
Abstinence from food and sensory objects only stops the physical action, but the mental longing (rasa) remains. This longing only disappears completely when one realizes Brahman, the supreme bliss, which transcends all worldly pleasures.
