The Translation
“O Bharata, the soul that dwells in the body of everyone is eternally indestructible. Therefore, you should not grieve for any living being.”

देही नित्यमवध्योऽयं देहे सर्वस्य भारत
Bhagavan concludes this first part of His discourse. Having proved through reason and scripture that the Self (Atman) is immortal, he tells Arjuna that grief has no place in reality. Delusion has been countered with truth.
