The Translation
“In the minds of those who are too attached to sense enjoyment and material wealth, and whose intellect is stolen by these desires, the resolute determination for samadhi does not arise.”

भोगैश्वर्यप्रसक्तानां तयापहृतचेतसाम्
Samadhi is the state in which the mind is absorbed in the Self (Atman) for the realization of truth. Those whose minds are carried away by material pleasures lack the single-pointed determination required for this absorption.
