The Translation
“O Partha, how can a person who knows the soul to be indestructible, eternal, unborn, and imperishable, kill anyone or cause anyone to kill?”

वेदाविनाशिनं नित्यं य एनमजमव्ययम्
For a person who has realized the Self (Jnani), there is no agency (Kartritva). They do not kill, nor do they cause anyone to kill. The teaching of the Gita is meant to lead Arjuna from the illusion of agency to this state of non-action in action.
