The Translation
“Work must be performed as a sacrifice to the Divine, otherwise it binds us to this material world. Therefore, O son of Kunti, perform your duties without attachment, as a sacrifice.”

यज्ञार्थात्कर्मणोऽन्यत्र लोकोऽयं कर्मबन्धनः
Yajna represents Vishnu, the Supreme Lord. Any action done for the service of the Lord does not cause bondage. But actions done for personal desires bind the soul. Therefore, perform your duties purely as a service to God.
