The Translation

“Work must be performed as a sacrifice to the Divine, otherwise it binds us to this material world. Therefore, O son of Kunti, perform your duties without attachment, as a sacrifice.”

Krishna introduces the concept of Yajna (sacrifice or contribution) as the secret to performing actions without incurring binding karma.

Practical Application
1

  • What is the difference between working with a transactional mindset ('what will I get?') versus a sacrificial mindset ('what can I contribute?')?
