The Translation

“Arjuna said: Out of compassion for me, You have spoken these words concerning the supreme, confidential spiritual science (Adhyatma). By this, my delusion is now completely dispelled.”

Commentary & Insights

At the beginning of Chapter 11 (Viśvarūpa-Darśana Yoga), Arjuna expresses deep gratitude to Krishna. Having listened to the description of the Divine glories in Chapter 10, his intellectual doubts and delusion are cleared, and he is ready for direct perception.

Practical Application
1

When feeling isolated or overwhelmed today, pause and remind yourself: 'I am not an isolated unit; I am a connected part of a larger, living system.'

Self-Reflection Prompts
  • How is delusion (*moha*) like a fog that makes us see threats where there are none? How does the light of spiritual science (*adhyātma*) clear this fog?
  • Why is receiving spiritual knowledge viewed as a gift of grace (*anugraha*) rather than something we earn by ego?
