The Translation
“This space between heaven and earth, as well as all directions, is pervaded by You alone. Seeing this wonderful, terrifying form of Yours, the three worlds are trembling with fear, O Great Soul.”

Arjuna's emotional state shifts from wonder to terror. He realizes that the Cosmic Form is not just beautiful, but also terrifyingly vast and fierce (ugram), pervading all space and causing the worlds to tremble.

द्यावापृथिव्योरिदमन्तरं हि
व्याप्तं त्वयैकेन दिशश्च सर्वाः
The space and directions are filled by the Lord, proving He is the only reality. The 'three worlds' represent all living beings within the three planes of existence. They tremble because the ego, which thrives on boundaries and safety, feels its own imminent death when confronted by the boundless, destructive scale of the Infinite.
