The Translation

“The Rudras, Adityas, Vasus, Sadhyas, Vishvadevas, Ashvins, Maruts, Ushmapas, Gandharvas, Yakshas, Asuras, and perfected Siddhas—they are all gazing upon You, completely amazed.”

Commentary & Insights

Arjuna lists all the classes of cosmic beings—both positive (devas, siddhas) and negative (asuras)—who are watching the revelation of the Cosmic Form in silent, stunned amazement.

Practical Application
1

Observe your own conflicting desires or thoughts today without taking sides: look at them neutrally as an amazed observer, letting the conflict quiet down on its own.

Self-Reflection Prompts
  • Even the demons (*Asuras*) are described as gazing in 'amazement' (*vismitāḥ*). How does the ultimate truth force even the most resistant minds to stand in silent recognition?
  • How does this massive assembly show that the entire cosmos is a single spectator sport, with all forces watching the unfoldment of consciousness?
