Self-Reflection Prompts
- If our life is like a river, and death is like the ocean, why do we view the merger as a tragedy? How can we see the river returning to its source as a homecoming?
- How does the speed of a river's torrent describe the rapid, unstoppable flow of time in our daily lives?

11.28
यथा नदीनां बहवोऽम्बुवेगाः
समुद्रमेवाभिमुखा द्रवन्ति
The river is drawn to the ocean by gravity. Similarly, the Jivas are drawn to the Cosmic Body by their karma and the law of time. The ocean is the natural end of the river; the Lord is the natural end and source of all Jivas. They must eventually return.
