The Translation
“Having seen what has never been seen before, I am filled with joy; yet my mind is distressed with fear. Show me that familiar form of Yours, O Lord! Be gracious, O Lord of gods, O Sanctuary of the universe!”

Arjuna confesses his conflicting emotional state: he is ecstatic to have seen the cosmic vision, but his human mind is overwhelmed with terror. He begs Krishna to return to His relatable, gentle form.

अदृष्टपूर्वं हृषितोऽस्मि दृष्ट्वा
भयेन च प्रव्यथितं मनो मे
Arjuna has experienced the transcendent reality which is beyond all senses, but his physical mind cannot sustain this state of samadhi for long without fear. He asks the Lord to return to the relative, personal form of Vishnu so he can interact with Him in normal consciousness.
