Self-Reflection Prompts
- Why does the light of Truth cause fear in negative forces (rakṣāṃsi) while causing joy and love (anurajyate) in perfected souls? How does this play out in our own psychological tendencies?
- How does addressing Krishna as Hrishikesha (Lord of the Senses) remind us that all our sensory experiences are ultimately controlled by the Divine?

It is appropriate that the cosmos reacts this way. The Lord is the self of all, so His praise brings joy to the righteous, who see Him as their own essence, while it frightens the unrighteous, who cling to their separate, egoic identity.
