“You are the Supreme Imperishable, the ultimate object of knowledge. You are the supreme sanctuary of this universe. You are the changeless protector of eternal righteousness (Dharma). I realize You are the Primeval, Eternal Person.”

त्वमक्षरं परमं वेदितव्यं
त्वमस्य विश्वस्य परं निधानम्
Arjuna declares that Krishna is the supreme Akshara (Brahman) taught in the Upanishads, which is the only thing truly worth knowing. He is the repository where the universe rests during dissolution. He is 'avyaya' because He undergoes no decay. He is the eternal Purusha.
