The Translation
“Tell me, who are You of such fierce form? Salutations to You, O Best of gods, be gracious! I desire to know You, the Primeval One, for I do not understand Your actions or purpose.”

Terrified and confused by this destructive vision, Arjuna asks a fundamental question: 'Who are You of such fierce form?' He pleads for grace, admitting he does not understand the Lord's purpose.
