The Translation
“If the sons of Dhritarashtra, armed with weapons, were to kill me in battle while I am unarmed and unresisting, that would be better for me.”
Commentary & Insights
Arjuna reaches the absolute lowest point of his collapse. He declares that he would rather throw away his weapons and let the Kauravas kill him without resisting (apratīkāram). He believes that dying as a passive victim is morally superior to fighting for his rights.

Arjuna's desire to die unarmed is the peak of his delusion. He believes that by dying, he will escape the problems of life, failing to realize that the soul cannot be killed and our karma must be faced.
