“Therefore, all of you, standing in your respective positions at all the strategic entry points of the army, protect Bhishma alone.”
Commentary & Insights
Duryodhana instructs his generals to support and guard Bhishma, the commander-in-chief, recognizing that their entire army's success hinges on his survival and strength. Despite his boasts of their army being unlimited, he knows that Bhishma is their single greatest asset, and if Bhishma falls, the army will collapse.
