“why should we, who see the evil of family destruction, not turn away from this sin, O Janardana?”

Arjuna argues that because they (the Pandavas) are aware of the sin of destroying a family, they have a responsibility to turn away from this war. He appeals to Krishna's wisdom to support his decision to withdraw.
