“When the mind, quieted by the practice of Yoga, attains stillness, and when seeing the Self by the Self, one finds satisfaction in the Self alone;”

Samadhi is the state where the mind dissolves its active thoughts and shines as pure consciousness. The seeker realizes that they are the source of all joy, and they no longer look for happiness outside.
