यं लब्ध्वा चापरं लाभं मन्यते नाधिकं ततः
A knower of Brahman has realized that they are the eternal, immortal Atman. Physical weapons or circumstances can only touch the body, not the Self. Therefore, even extreme pain (like being struck by a sword) cannot shake their inner peace.
