Self-Reflection Prompts
- If all your thoughts, emotions, and physical changes are 'born of Prakriti' (prakṛti-sambhavān), how does this help you detach from mental chatter and biological moods?
- Why must both matter and spirit be beginningless (anādī)? How does this explain the ongoing dance of creation?

प्रकृतिं पुरुषं चैव विद्ध्यनादी उभावपि
Prakriti and Purusha are the two powers of the Lord (Ishvara). Since the Lord has no beginning, His powers also have no beginning. All modifications (like pleasure and pain) and the gunas are modifications of Prakriti. The Atman is ever-pure and changeless.
