Self-Reflection Prompts
- How can we create a 'solitary place' (vivikta-deśa) within our own homes or daily schedules, even if we live in a busy city?
- Why is avoiding shallow gossip (aratir jana-saṃsadi) necessary for keeping our mental energy focused on higher goals?

13.11
मयि चानन्ययोगेन भक्तिरव्यभिचारिणी
Unswerving devotion is the realization that 'there is no other than the Lord, who is my Self.' Solitary places (like forests or quiet rooms) help the mind attain composure. Distaste for worldly assemblies is necessary, but one should still meet with holy and wise people (satsang) who help in spiritual life.
