“Still others, not knowing these paths, begin to worship having heard of them from others. They also cross beyond death, by virtue of their devotion to what they hear.”

अन्ये त्वेवमजानन्तः श्रुत्वान्येभ्य उपासते
These are seekers who lack the capacity to study or meditate on their own. They listen to the teachings of the Guru or scriptures with full faith. Their faith keeps them on the path of righteousness, which slowly purifies their minds, allowing them to eventually cross the ocean of birth and death.
