बुद्ध्या विशुद्धया युक्तो धृत्यात्मानं नियम्य च
Purification of the intellect means directing it exclusively toward the non-dual Self. Controlling the mind requires turning it away from sensory pursuits and keeping it steady in the face of pleasant and unpleasant experiences.
