The Translation
“Heroism, majesty, fortitude, dexterity, courage in battle, generosity, and leadership—these constitute the natural duty of a warrior (Kshatriya).”

शौर्यं तेजो धृतिर्दाक्ष्यं युद्धे चाप्यपलायनम्
Shankara comments that these duties are born of a temperament dominated by Rajas. A Kshatriya's duty is to defend justice and maintain order. 'Īśvara-bhāvaḥ' is the capacity to lead and govern without being weak. They must show heroism and refuse to run away from battles, whether physical or moral.
