The Translation
“Having become one with Brahman, serene in self, he neither grieves nor desires. Regarding all beings equally, he attains supreme devotion unto Me.”
Commentary & Insights
Krishna describes the state of a realized soul (brahmabhuta). Such an individual has transcended all material desires and views the entire creation with equal vision, experiencing the highest form of devotion (parabhakti).

ब्रह्मभूतः प्रसन्नात्मा न शोचति न काङ्क्षति
Having realized the identity of Atman and Brahman, the sage becomes serene, untouched by external changes. This serene knowledge is not dry; it culminates in Para-Bhakti, the supreme devotion which is nothing other than absolute absorption in the Self.
