The Translation
“Knowing this truth, the seekers of liberation in ancient times also performed action. Therefore, you should perform your duty as did the ancients in former times.”

एवं ज्ञात्वा कृतं कर्म पूर्वैरपि मुमुक्षुभिः
Shankara notes that the ancients performed action either for the purification of the mind (if they were seekers) or for the welfare of the world (if they were already realized sages). In either case, action is the correct path for Arjuna.
