स एवायं मया तेऽद्य योगः प्रोक्तः पुरातनः | भक्तोऽसि मे सखा चेति रहस्यं ह्येतदुत्तमम् ||४-३||
sa evāyaṃ mayā te.adya yogaḥ proktaḥ purātanaḥ . bhakto.asi me sakhā ceti rahasyaṃ hyetaduttamam ||4-3||

The Translation

“That very same ancient Yoga is today declared to you by Me, because you are My devotee and My friend; and this is indeed the supreme secret.”

Commentary & Insights

Krishna tells Arjuna that He is revealing this supreme secret of Yoga to him because Arjuna is His devotee, friend, and possesses the humility to receive it.
