“Free from desires, with mind and self controlled, having renounced all possessiveness, and performing actions solely for bodily maintenance, one incurs no sin.”

निराशीर्यतचित्तात्मा त्यक्तसर्वपरिग्रहः
Shankara notes that for a wandering monk (sanyasi) who has renounced all properties, even searching for food to keep the body alive is a physical activity. Since this is done without egoism, it does not create any sin or bondage.
