Self-Reflection Prompts
- Just as we wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night, the entire universe undergoes cycles of waking and sleeping. How does this pattern of nature reflect in your personal life?
- If our bodies are just temporary manifest states of an unmanifest energy, why do we fear death, which is merely a return to the unmanifest?

अव्यक्ताद् व्यक्तयः सर्वाः प्रभवन्त्यहरागमे
The 'unmanifest' here refers to the state of sleep of Prajapati (Brahma), which is the causal state of material energy (Avyakta/Maya). When Brahma wakes, the latent karma of the Jivas impels their manifestation. When he sleeps, they return to a state of latency.
