पुण्यो गन्धः पृथिव्यां च तेजश्चास्मि विभावसौ
'Puṇyaḥ' means unadulterated, the natural smell of the earth before it is mixed with other elements. The Lord is the natural, pure state of all things. Sins and defects are artificial additions.
