कामैस्तैस्तैर्हृतज्ञानाः प्रपद्यन्तेऽन्यदेवताः
People seek immediate results like wealth, health, or progeny. Their desires blind them to the ultimate reality of Brahman. They bind themselves to finite rites for finite deities, remaining trapped in the cycle of birth and death.
