“The unintelligent think of Me, the unmanifest, as having become manifest, not knowing My supreme, imperishable, and unsurpassed nature.”

अव्यक्तं व्यक्तिमापन्नं मन्यन्ते मामबुद्धयः
The ignorant think the Lord is just a normal human being born of Vasudeva, subject to karma, who was unmanifest before birth and became manifest after birth. They do not realize the true nature of Ishvara as the birthless, deathless Brahman who only appears as manifest through His Maya.
