The Translation
“I am not manifest to everyone, being veiled by My divine illusion. This deluded world does not know Me, the unborn and imperishable.”

Krishna explains that covered by His creative illusion (Yoga-Maya), He is not visible to all, and the deluded world does not recognize Him as unborn and imperishable.

नाहं प्रकाशः सर्वस्य योगमायासमावृतः
Yoga-maya is the combination of the three gunas under the control of the Lord's will. It acts as a screen. Just as a common man cannot see a king who is behind a screen, so the worldly people cannot see the Supreme Lord who is covered by His own projection of Maya.
