The Translation
“Among these, the wise one who is constantly united with Me in single-minded devotion is the best. For I am exceedingly dear to the wise, and they are dear to Me.”

तेषां ज्ञानी नित्ययुक्त एकभक्तिर्विशिष्यते
The wise one knows the truth of the Self, which is none other than the Lord. Therefore, the wise one loves the Lord as his very Self, and the Lord loves him as His Self. Since the Self is the dearest of all things, this love is supreme and unconditional.
