The Translation
“Becoming the fire of digestion in the bodies of living beings, and united with the incoming and outgoing breaths, I digest the four kinds of food.”

अहं वैश्वानरो भूत्वा प्राणिनां देहमाश्रितः
Shankara comments that the digestive fire (Vaishvanara) is a manifestation of the Lord. The eater is the fire, the food digested is the offering, and the Lord is the consumer. Hence, the entire process of digestion is a non-dual sacrifice (yajna).
