Self-Reflection Prompts
- How does the concept of 'steadfastness' (sthiti) show that spirituality is a lifelong path of habit rather than a one-time emotional experience?
- How does performing your daily job 'for His sake' (tad-arthīyaṃ) change your attitude toward your boss, your colleagues, and your stress levels?

यज्ञे तपसि दाने च स्थितिः सदिति चोच्यते
Shankara comments that steadfastness (sthiti) means absolute devotion to these three practices, refusing to waver. 'Tad-arthīyaṃ' refers to actions performed for Brahman or Ishvara. Since all such actions are aligned with the ultimate truth, they are called SAT, leading the seeker to liberation.
