“Those who have no faith in this righteous path, O conqueror of foes, fail to attain Me and return to the path of the mortal world of birth and death.”

अश्रद्दधानाः पुरुषा धर्मस्यास्य परन्तप
Without faith in the reality of the Self and the path of liberation, a person remains stuck in bodily identity. They continue to perform actions for selfish fruits, binding themselves to the cycle of repeated births and deaths.
