The Translation

“But for those who worship Me with undivided devotion, meditating on Me always, to them I carry what they lack and preserve what they have.”

Commentary & Insights

In contrast to the transactional seekers of Swarga, Krishna describes the state of the non-dual devotee (ananyāḥ janāḥ) who seeks nothing but union with the Divine. He offers the ultimate assurance of divine protection.

Practical Application
1

  • Does 'carrying what you lack' mean God will fulfill all your material greed, or does it mean He will provide exactly what is needed for your spiritual growth?
