The Translation

“Attraction and aversion for sense objects reside in each of the senses. One should not come under their sway, for they are obstacles on the path.”

Commentary & Insights

Krishna explains that attachment and aversion are naturally established in the senses, warning Arjuna not to fall under their control, as they are obstacles to wisdom.

Practical Application
1

When you feel a strong aversion to a task or an attraction to a distraction today, pause. Say: 'I feel the impulse, but I choose to act on my values.'
