The Translation
“O Partha, he who does not follow in this life the wheel of creation thus set in motion, leads a sinful life. Rejoicing only in the senses, he lives in vain.”

एवं प्रवर्तितं चक्रं नानुवर्तयतीह यः
Shankara explains that this cosmic wheel applies to householders and active seekers. Those who have already realized the Self are beyond this wheel, but everyone else must follow it to purify their minds.
