Self-Reflection Prompts
- What does it mean for a realm or state of consciousness to be 'self-luminous', requiring no external source of light?
- If reaching this state means 'no return', does it mean one becomes inactive, or does it mean one acts from a place of absolute freedom?

न तद्भासयते सूर्यो न शशाङ्को न पावकः
Shankara comments that the light of the sun and other physical elements is only a limited reflection of the light of Consciousness. The supreme abode is Brahman itself, which is self-luminous and is the source of all physical light. Once a seeker realizes identity with this non-dual Brahman, there is no possibility of returning to delusion.
