Self-Reflection Prompts
- How does the concept of a neutral, all-pervading Lord (*vibhuḥ*) differ from the concept of a judging, angry God? Which brings more peace?
- If our true wisdom is merely 'covered' by ignorance, how does that show that enlightenment is a process of removing covers rather than adding something new?

5.15
नादत्ते कस्यचित्पापं न चैव सुकृतं विभुः
The Supreme Lord is like the sun. The sun shines equally on a clean river and a dirty drainage. It does not take the purity of the river or the dirt of the drain. The belief that God is pleased by rituals or angry at sins is a delusion born of ignorance.
