Self-Reflection Prompts
- When an impulse of anger or greed arises in your mind, can you catch it and breathe through it without acting it out? What is the force (*vega*) of these urges?
- Why is it a mistake to wait for retirement or death to find spiritual peace? Why must we do it 'here in this world'?

5.23
शक्नोतीहैव यः सोढुं प्राक्शरीरविमोक्षणात्
Desire and anger are like powerful currents that drag a person to ruin. The yogi stands like a rock in the river, observing these urges as movements of the mind, without reacting. This self-mastery is the only source of true happiness.
