The Translation

“Arjuna said: O Krishna, first You praise the renunciation of actions, and then again You recommend the path of selfless action. Tell me decisively which one of these two is indeed better.”

Commentary & Insights

Arjuna remains confused between the path of complete renunciation (retiring from active duties to seek knowledge) and the path of active engagement (Karma Yoga). He asks Krishna to state decisively which of these two is superior.

Practical Application
1

When you feel overwhelmed and want to run away from your tasks today, pause and ask: 'How can I perform my work differently to find peace, rather than escaping it?'
