Self-Reflection Prompts
- If the true source of joy is inside us, why are we constantly running after external objects (likes, clothes, gadgets) to feel happy?
- How can we cultivate 'inner contact' through meditation to access this decayless happiness (*akṣayam sukham*)?

5.21
बाह्यस्पर्शेष्वसक्तात्मा विन्दत्यात्मनि यत्सुखम्
Sensory pleasure is dependent on objects, senses, and contact. When the contact breaks, the pleasure ends. Brahman-joy is the very nature of the Self, requiring no external contact. Therefore, it is permanent and never decays.
