सन्नियम्येन्द्रियग्रामं सर्वत्र समबुद्धयः
Those who realize the non-dual Brahman reach the Lord's supreme state. Even-mindedness means looking at all creatures with the eye of equality. Caring for the welfare of all beings is a natural outcome of realizing that all beings are one's own Self.
