The Translation

“Knowledge is indeed better than mechanical practice; meditation is superior to mere knowledge; renunciation of the fruits of action is better than meditation; and peace immediately follows such renunciation.”

Commentary & Insights

Krishna presents a surprising hierarchy of practices, explaining that letting go of the anxiety of outcomes (tyāga) is the most direct path to immediate inner peace.

Practical Application
1

Identify one expectation you are clinging to today (e.g., how a meeting 'must' go). Consciously release it, accepting whatever outcome arises to find immediate peace.
